Blood drives

Following are the upcoming Red Cross blood drives in the area:

--Monday, January 21, 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 420 Irving Street, Alexandria.

--Tuesday, January 22, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 420 Irving Street, Alexandria.

--Thursday, January 24, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Armory, 311 Broadway Street, Alexandria.

--Monday, January 28, 1 to 7 p.m. at Village Hall, Brandon.

--Tuesday, January 29, 1 to 6 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 1204 North Nokomis, Alexandria.

--Wednesday, January 30, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Armory, 311 Broadway Street, Alexandria.

--Thursday, January 31, noon to 6 p.m., Community Center, 18 East Nokomis Street, Osakis.

Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for information. A blood donor’s card or driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required.

Individuals who are 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible.
