Celebrate Recovery kicks off New Year

Celebrate Recovery in Alexandria offers a New Year’s opportunity for those wanting to start a journey to freedom from life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups.

This year’s Celebrate Recovery New Year Kickoff will be held Monday, January 7. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a time of food and fellowship, followed by a large group celebration at 6:30 p.m. A one-time Newcomers 101 class and several issue-specific open-share groups follow at 7:30 p.m., with a coffeehouse at 8:30 p.m.

A joint program of Catalyst and Covenant Churches, Celebrate Recovery meets every Monday evening on the main floor of Alexandria Covenant Church, 4005 Dakota Street, Alexandria.

Celebrate Recovery offers freedom from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors along with support and training for family members and friends of those who struggle.
