More than 350 enjoy community Christmas dinner
The 20th annual community Christmas Day dinner at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Alexandria was a success.

The 20th annual community Christmas Day dinner at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Alexandria was a success, according to organizers. More than 80 volunteers from the church and community participated, and 350 meals were served. Guests came from as far away as Transylvania, Germany, South Korea and Glenwood.
The event is held to ensure that community members are not alone on Christmas.
Various organizations and businesses donated to the event.
