Experience 'the Dream' over airwaves

What are your dreams like? Are they vivid? Do you dream in color? Have you ever had dreams that seem so real it’s hard to believe what you experienced was really a dream?

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:

ON STAGE

LAT will be closed on Friday, January 4. Live performances will resume on January 11 at 7 p.m. with the contemporary radio “dramedy” by New York playwright Susan Rowans, entitled The Life of Hubie Hartzel. The show is adapted and directed by Kent Garlinghouse.

ON THE AIR

What are your dreams like? Are they vivid? Do you dream in color? Have you ever had dreams that seem so real it’s hard to believe what you experienced was really a dream?

That’s the rabbit hole the characters go down in The Dream set to broadcast on KXRA 1490 AM on Sunday, January 6 at 12:30 p.m.

Written and directed by Kent Garlinghouse, the show stars Bob Sievers, Scott Giannone, Judy Berger, Kathe Nelson, Karen Gladen, Bill Olson and Karen Hildebrandt. Bob Piotrowski adapted and performed the music. Jamie Sandberg designed the sound effects and performed them with Gram Hildebrandt.
