Connie Wiswell is a recipient of Knute Nelson’s (KN) Tree of Excellence award.
• Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, a department of Douglas County Hospital, reports that Andrea Nelson was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Minnesota Board of Medical Practices Athletic Training Advisory Council.
Nelson is the clinical services coordinator and sports medicine coordinator at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists.
Mike Doyle, administrator at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, said, “Andrea has worked very hard to become a leader in the athletic training profession. It is great to see that she is being recognized for her knowledge.”
• Connie Wiswell is a recipient of Knute Nelson’s (KN) Tree of Excellence award. This award is the highest level of recognition through the KN Employee Recognition Program. Wiswell has been employed at KN for more than a year and a half as a housekeeper. Wiswell was nominated by her peers who said that she is “always upbeat,” “takes pride in her work” and “has a great sense of humor.”
