Aces are turning up (and upside down) all over
Now in their 23rd year of dazzling audiences with their basketball wizardry, the Alexandria Aces have progressed into one of the top half-time acts in the NCAA and NBA.

Members of the Alexandria Aces spun, dribbled and balanced their way to another crowd pleasing performance during the Alexandria varsity girls’ basketball game against Park Center last Friday.
Now in their 23rd year of dazzling audiences with their basketball wizardry, the Alexandria Aces have progressed into one of the top half-time acts in the NCAA and NBA.
The players are coached by Larry Novotny, former basketball trick artist who performed his basketball magic across much of the U.S. in the 1970s and 1980s.
The Aces are comprised of boys and girls, ages 5-12.
Their shows, now seen by more than 3 million fans across North America, include spectacular dribbling, juggling, and spinning feats. They perform cartwheels while spinning the ball, balance basketballs on top of 14-foot poles and conduct group routines, like synchronized dribbling or forming five-person pyramids.
The Aces have been featured at half-times of high school, CBA, NCAA, Final Four, and NBA basketball games. They have been seen on ESPN, FOX Sports, and on various major networks.
The fun will continue for the Aces in 2013. They will be performing live on KSTP-TV’s Twin Cities Live on Friday, January 11 between 3 and 4 p.m. before flying to Virginia for the women’s college basketball game that Saturday.
