Girls' basketball: Minnewaska falls to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle

The Minnewaska girls’ basketball team saw its two-game winning streak snapped after coming up just short in a 53-51 loss to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle last Friday.

The Lakers got 14 points apiece from Carley Stewart and Sydney Joos. Veronica Weisel added nine points and 10 rebounds in a loss that dropped Minnewaska to 3-6 on the season.

The Lakers will be back at it tonight, Friday, when they take on Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at home.
