It’s been a rough road for the Osakis boys’ basketball team this season and things didn’t get any easier Saturday as the Silverstreaks hosted Battle Lake, falling 66-22.
The Battlers jumped out to a 39-10 halftime lead, making it easy for Battle Lake to stay on top as they used their defensive rebounding to get the edge and limit the Silverstreaks to just one shot each time down the floor.
No Osakis player hit double figures, with Doug Zimmel leading the team as he scored six.
Ky Zimmel had just one point, but pulled down three rebounds and had two steals.
Osakis hosted Upsala last night, Thursday, and will be at St. John’s Prep on Tuesday.
