Out and About: Making snow and having fun

Andes Tower Hills south of Alexandria was a whirlwind of activity last week.

Snow making efforts kicked into high gear Friday and the cold weather made conditions ideal. The process whipped up giant clouds of snow that could be seen 10 miles away.

Meanwhile, a group of children from Garfield, Miltona and Carlos schools enjoyed a day on the slopes.
