Principal's special day celebrated
Students at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria celebrated the 50th birthday of Principal Scott Heckert in a big way on Friday, December 14.

Students at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria celebrated the 50th birthday of Principal Scott Heckert in a big way on Friday, December 14.
The students all dressed in black clothing and each grade level honored him with “50” gifts, including 50 candy M&M’s, 50 marbles, 50 candy canes, 50 kind notes, and from the 6th graders, he got a poem to read while they tossed 50 paper snowballs at him.
