NOVEMBER 27, 2012
The Board of Commissioners in and for the County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, met in Regular Session this 27th day of November, 2012. Following is a summary of actions taken at that meeting. The full text is available for public inspection in the County Auditor/Treasurer’s office.
To approve the agenda with additions. Motion carried.
To approve minutes of the November 13th, 2012 Regular Board meeting as submitted. Motion carried.
To pay bills in the amount of $732,524.98 as follows:

To accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and approve the preliminary plat of Blue Jay Acres with conditions. Motion carried.
To adopt the amended Lake Oscar Outlet Operation Plan as presented by Dave Robley. Motion carried.
To approve the request for repair on Branch 3 of CD 13 as presented by Tom Anderson. Motion carried.
To approve the request for repair on Branch 17 of CD 23 as presented by Tom Anderson. Motion carried.
To approve Mr. Woods’ request to purchase office furniture in the amount of $6,380. Motion carried.
To approve the 2013 health insurance rates. Motion carried.
There was discussion on the License Bureau. To table this item until the December 11th Board meeting. Motion carried.
To approve Sandy Tubbs’ request to allow a staff person to attend the WIC advisory conference in Little Rock in April. All expenses will be paid by the MN Department of Health. Motion carried.
To endorse continuing Hospice of Douglas County under Public Health administration. Motion carried.
To adjourn the meeting at 11:00 a.m. Vote: Yes - Anderson, Bales, Johnson, Olson and Salto. Motion carried.
