Alexandria gymnastics: First road trip brings another win

all-around honors

Alexandria sophomore Hannah Wendel was first in three events to claim individual all-around honors and boost the Cardinal gymnasts past Fergus Falls 136.45-118.1 Friday.

Wendel posted an 8.95 on vault, 9.1 on beam and 9.0 on floor exercise, then bolstered her score by finishing third on beam with an 8.5 to tally 35.55 in the all-around.

Teammate Tahlia Bowden, a freshman, was second in the all-around, while senior Briquelle Bowden was third and sophomore Bria Schueler was fifth.

St. Cloud Tech will be at Alexandria tomorrow, Thursday.
