Bernice Froemming, 91, Alexandria, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Fargo, North Dakota.
Bernice was born April 28, 1921 in Carlos to Alfred and Emma (Brueske) Froemming.
She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Garfield and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria, where she was a loyal Sunday school teacher for many years.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Susan Erickson, of Alexandria; her grandson, Eric Erickson of Ulen; sister-in-law, Fern Froemming of Orlando, FL; as well as many well-loved nieces and nephews. They are Jeff Olson of St. Peter, Marvel Froemming of Moorhead, Sally Kinenberger of Fargo and Sandra Gee and Larry Froemming of Orlando, FL.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Emma; her stepfather, Harry “Pappy” Gulson; and siblings, Roy, Earl, Ralph, LaVerne, Albert and Rosa.
A funeral service was held Monday, December 17 at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria with the Rev. William Moeller and the Rev. Terry Finnern officiating. Stephanie Tewes was the soloist, with Mertice Brueske serving as organist. Bernice was interred at Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria with Travis Olson, Brent Olson, Mark Anderson, Danny Van Heel, Stephanie Menning and Sally Kinenberger serving as pallbearers.
