The Cardinals evened their record Friday night as they traveled to Sartell for a 49-25 Central Lakes Conference win.
Amanda Christianson led the way on offense with 17 points, while Kallie Bowser had seven, Karly Betterman seven, Amanda Gould six, Dani Strater and Sarah Bruzek five each, and Jaylen Olson-Rodel with two.
“It was a fantastic defensive team effort, with [good] execution on offense, as well,” said head coach Wendy Kohler.
“The Cards put on the heat from the opening tipoff and never looked back, cruising to a well-deserved CLC victory.
“It was exciting to see the team bounce back with confidence as we had two fantastic days on the practice floor, identifying areas that needed improvement,” she said. “Our reboundingwas much tougher in the paint, we were more efficient finishing plays and, overall, we played as hard, but much smarter.”
Alexandria hosted St. Cloud Apollo last night, Tuesday, and will be at Sauk Centre tomorrow, Thursday.
