Alexandria's Wendy Kohler has been selected as a recipient of the Minnesota Coalition of Women in Athletic Leadership's Breaking Barriers award.
The award is given to those who have broken barriers or made an impact on girls' and women's athletics.
Kohler, who has been the Cardinal girls' basketball head coach since 1985, will receive her award on Wednesday, February 6 at the State Capitol Rotunda in St. Paul during Minnesota's celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
