Realtors to ring bells Friday

On Friday, December 7, nearly 100,000 realtors will staff the red kettles of The Salvation Army in 21 states, including Minnesota.

The event debuted in 2010 with a few hundred real estate professionals bell ringing in Minnesota and North Dakota. This year, thousands will ring bells nationwide as real estate professionals support a cause that is dear to them: housing.

Realtors will be at the famous red kettles in the Twin Cities and 15 other Minnesota cities, including Alexandria.

“We thank our local real estate professionals for coming together to support The Salvation Army,” said Lt. Col. Daniel Sjögren, Salvation Army Northern Division Commander. “Because of their efforts, The Salvation Army is able to shelter more people, feed more hungry families and free more people from addiction.”
