Bake sale to benefit humane society
The Lakes Area Humane Society (LAHS) will hold its annual holiday bake sale at the Viking Plaza Mall in Alexandria Saturday, December 15, from 9 a.m. until all goodies are gone.
The Lakes Area Humane Society (LAHS) will hold its annual holiday bake sale at the Viking Plaza Mall in Alexandria Saturday, December 15, from 9 a.m. until all goodies are gone.
In addition to baked goods, pet owners can get pet ID tags made for $5 each.
Those who wish to donate bake goods for the sale can bring them to the mall on the 15th between 8 and 9 a.m. All types of items will be accepted, though specialty foods such as lefse, rosettes, krumkake, and Christmas cookies are always in high demand.
