The Lowe Family Christmas Spectacular set to dazzle

The Lowe Family Christmas Spectacular, a touring holiday variety show live from Branson, Missouri, is coming to Alexandria to give a concert on the Alexandria Area Arts Association (AAAA) stage on Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m. The Lowe family has been entertaining hundreds of thousands around the world for more than 25 years. All seven of the siblings began studying and performing the music of the masters at young ages.

The Lowe Family Christmas Spectacular, a touring holiday variety show live from Branson, Missouri, is coming to Alexandria to give a concert on the Alexandria Area Arts Association (AAAA) stage on Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m.

The Lowe family has been entertaining hundreds of thousands around the world for more than 25 years. All seven of the siblings began studying and performing the music of the masters at young ages.

“Think colossal. Then think beyond that. Only then do you have an idea of the titanic amount of talent within the Lowe family,” said entertainment reporter Julie Kilmer.

Versatile on many instruments, the nine Lowes offer a blend of classical, Broadway, Irish, jazz, bluegrass, old-time favorites, spectacular dance, six-part harmony, gospel and a patriotic tribute.

“This high-energy, fast-paced variety show will leave you breathless,” said AAAA executive director Benjamin Klipfel.

Most recently, the Lowe family appeared with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and orchestra on their national TV and radio broadcast. They’ve also been featured as special guests during the Olympics and on China’s New Year’s celebration televised internationally.

“The musical capabilities of the entire family are amazing. They have honed their skills so that they can perform any type of music and do it with exceptional skill,” said Cincinnati Post writer Johnnie Wolfe.

Advance tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for ages 17 or younger. Tickets at the door, pending availability, will be $36 for adults and $24 for children.
