We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Alexandria and the surrounding Douglas County area for their generous support of our activities during our sixth year of service.
To the editor:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Alexandria and the surrounding Douglas County area for their generous support of our activities during our sixth year of service. During that time, more than 100 volunteers conducted more than 200 outings and took out more than 2,150 guests and volunteers on our two pontoons, for either boating or fishing.
This large number of guests constituted a new state record for any of the 30-some chapters of Let’s Go Fishing spread across the state of Minnesota.
To our supporters who give financially, and our volunteers who give of their time and talents, we say thanks for a job well done.
We are looking forward to serving the Alexandria and Osakis area lakes again next year.
