Qualifying projects include current or future producers of biobased energy and organizations providing onsite research of how these systems impact environment and economy.

“The process has undergone a facelift with the adaptation for biobased content and biobased formulated product added into the NextGen Statute,” said MDA’s bioenergy manager, Kevin Hennessy.

Awardees must contribute at least 50 percent to total proposed bioenergy project cost.

Proposals will be accepted until January 10; awardees will be notified in March. For an application and information go to under News and Updates.
