4-H announces K-3 summer camps
The Douglas County 4-H program will offer four day camps this summers for students who have completed Grades K-3.
• June 28: Explore Animals! in Alexandria City Park in Alexandria. This camp covers topics including animals, habitat and care.
• July 19: Explore Nature! in Lake Osagi Park in Osakis. Campers explore the natural world through games, crafts and food.
• July 26: Explore Machines! at Brandon Elementary School in Brandon. Campers will create simple machines through junk bots, Legos and more.
• August 18: Fantastic Fair Fun! at Douglas County Fairgrounds. This camp brings kids on a personal tour of the Douglas County Fair.
Day camps run 9 to 3 p.m. Snacks will be provided, but youth should bring their own sack lunches. Registration costs $10 per person for each day camp or $30 for all four camps.
