Zion School gala to benefit students

Zion Lutheran School in Alexandria invites the community to its third annual gala on Friday, April 4 at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.

The festivities will begin with social hour and a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. A plated meal will be served around 6:30 p.m. with a choice of steak, chicken or alfredo.

Following the meal, a live auction led by professional auctioneer Tracy Mickelson will be held. Music and dancing provided by Johnny Rocket DJ service and games with a chance to win diamonds, cash and other donations will continue through the evening.

Tickets are $25. Proceeds from the gala benefit each of the children of Zion Lutheran School. Past proceeds have been used for the advancement of the technology program and the expansion of the preschool, which now offers a two-day and three-day program.

Purchase tickets at Zion Lutheran School and Church by Friday, March 28.
