Withers declines nomination to Runestone Electric Association Board

Runestone Electric Association Director Bryan Withers from Osakis has decided to decline his nomination for director in District 6.

“After further consideration, I have decided not to seek re-election. My six years on the board have been enjoyable and informative but I feel it is time to step down,” said Withers.

Withers and Clif Patrick were both nominated at the District 6 meeting held on January 22 in Osakis.

With Withers’ decision to not seek re-election, only Patrick’s name will appear on the ballots that will be mailed to members the first week of March.

Members of Runestone Electric Districts 3, 6 and 7 may vote for director candidates at the annual meeting or by using the mail ballot.

The annual meeting will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Jefferson High School in Alexandria. For more information, contact REA at (320) 762-1121 or 1-800-473-1722 or visit www.RunestoneElectric.com.
