The staff at Community Preschool of First Lutheran Church in Alexandria believes it is important to present new ways of learning to children while following the belief that children learn best through play. The staff also knows that ages 3 to 5 offer an important learning opportunity and is a great age to introduce a foreign language and to further explore music. Former public school German teacher Kathy Ortloff is introducing students to the German language at the school.
