The University of Minnesota, Morris will host the West Central School of Agriculture (WCSA) All-School Reunion on Saturday, July 20. The reunion is an annual event on the Morris campus, the former home of the WCSA. The event is a cherished tradition that provides opportunities for WCSA "Aggies" to share memories, reunite with fond friends, and enjoy the company of fellow alumni.

This year the class of 1963 will be having its 50th reunion, while the classes of 1943, 1948, 1952-53, and 1958 will be enjoying their 70th, 65th, 60th, and 55th reunions, respectively. Areas in which all of the five-year reunion groups can gather will be marked, although all alumni are encouraged to mingle with one another.

According to Carla Riley, director of alumni relations and annual giving, "this event is always very well attended, and I have come to recognize that 'Aggies' have remained wonderfully loyal to their school and to one another." She adds that "this is a special year as the Class of 1963 was the last class to graduate from the WCSA and will be the final class to celebrate its 50th WCSA reunion."

The day's festivities will begin with registration and brunch in the Student Center. In the afternoon, alumni will have an opportunity to take a bus tour of the West Central Research and Outreach Center, wind turbines, and biomass facility. Alumni are also welcome to visit the WCSA Alumni Garden and to check the progress of the Welcome Center's (Engineering Building) north courtyard renovation. The annual meeting and a buffet dinner will conclude the day's events.

All WCSA alumni are invited to attend the All-School Reunion. For more information, please contact Riley at rileycj@morris.umn.edu or 320-589-6394.
