Alexandria’s Hannah Wendel was in midseason form in the season opener for the Cardinal gymnastics team last Thursday night.

Wendel dominated the competition, winning every routine on her way to an all-around title. That helped the Cardinals to a 131.875-120.75 win over Central Lakes Conference foe Sauk Rapids-Rice.
