Wedding - Peabody/Olson
Maria Peabody of Alexandria and Grant Olson of Alexandria were married March 28, 2009 at First Congregational Church in Alexandria. Pastor Scott Keehn officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.
Maria is the daughter of Bill and Esther Peabody of Alexandria. She is a full-time student at The Art Institutes International of Minnesota, studying fashion and retail management. She works part-time at a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis and at Coach in the Mall of America.
Grant is the son of Larry and Karen Olson of Alexandria. He is a full-time student at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, where he is studying finance. He works part-time at a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.
Lori Antinozzi, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Tyanna Engebretson, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Lisa Kallaus, Michelle Bury, Kristie Quinn, Susan Moir and Catriona Young, friends of the bride. Lacey Gutierrez and Julie Olson, friends of the bride, were personal attendants. The flower girl was Kylie Katterhagen, cousin of the groom.
David Olson, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Ben Hartwell, Shane Matchinsky, Grant Vaith, Karl Neuenfeldt, Chad Buckner, Neight Mulville, friends of the groom. Lyle Peabody, Andrew Peabody, Nick Clements, Brad Zerr and Jeremy Mehesan, friends of the groom, served as ushers. The ring bearer was Michael Peabody, nephew of the bride.
The couple resides in Minneapolis.
