The Knights won the second and third sets in the match but could not finish off the Thunder. Head coach Beth Hill said the team needs to improve their ability to close out matches.

“I think a lot can be said for teams we play that are “used to” winning and we aren’t at that place quite yet,” Hill said. “We are close but we need a little more confidence.”

Holly Van Kempen led the Knights’ offense with 19 kills and seven blocks. Christina Kruize led the team’s defense with 29 digs.

The Knights are 9-6 overall this season with a 4-4 record in Prairie Conference play.
