Upsala led by 13 at halftime and pulled away from WCA by scoring 46 points in the second half. The Cardinals had plenty of second chances on offense as they out-rebounded WCA 39-16.

“We executed the game plan pretty decent in the first half,” head coach Kraig Hunter said. “We had good offensive possessions and mixed things up on defense and had many good defensive possessions, but we didn’t finish them with the rebound and many of their points were on second chances.”

Dylan Zimmerman led the scoring for Upsala with 28 points and Christian Pekarek also finished with 20 points. Jay Zimmerman led the Knights’ offense with 15 points.
