The Osakis volleyball team dominated much of the night in the home opener for the Silverstreaks as they swept Little Falls 25-8, 25-23, 25-14 on Tuesday.

Brittney Sadlemyer had a nice match at the net with a team-high nine kills to go along with three blocks. She also had nine digs, while Mackenzie Staloch had 17 assists and Abby Stroup added 13.

“We started out hot in game one. Our passing seemed to be right on tonight. Our setters did a super job of distributing sets to the hitters. Our hitters played aggressive and smart. The team played great together. They are communicating well. We play well when we communicate well.”

Staloch added to her assists with a big night from the serving line with eight aces. Ariel Chalmers added an ace and six digs, while Kayla Sorenson had a team-high three blocks.

“I’m very pleased with our start to the season,” Wessel said.
