A driver and passenger, both from Alexandria, escaped serious injury after a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 79 near the Grant/Douglas county line early this morning.

Skuza and his 38-year-old passenger, Stacie Villia, were able to get out of the burning Blazer.

Skuza fled the scene and was located about two hours later at a rural farm by the Evansville Fire Department. He was transported to the Douglas County Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Villia was not injured.

They were both wearing seat belts.

Assisting the State Patrol were the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the Evansville Fire Department and Ashby Ambulance.
