A large number of children out having fun in the local parks this summer might mean that the Traveling Tree House has arrived.

Debuted by United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties, the bus is staffed by early Childhood Education professionals. They will drive the bus throughout Douglas County offering games, learning opportunities and reading times to enhance educational opportunities for children pre-K to third grade.
