Two attempted burglaries reported at Holmes City residence days apart

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office received two 911 calls from the same residence in Holmes City reporting an attempted burglary once on Saturday and again on Monday.

The first call was received on Saturday, June 1, at 6:56 p.m. Aaron Schultz reported he had found the door to his residence at 6118 County Road 4 Southwest in Holmes City open when he arrived.
