TLHD announces third play of the season: 'Mom's the Word'
Theatre L'Homme Dieu (TLHD) is proud to present its third production of the 2009 season - "Mom's the Word."
Performances for this production are scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 through Sunday, July 19.
"Mom's the Word" is a humorous parody about the challenges of motherhood, turning a comic eye on the things that drive people crazy about their children and about motherhood.
It is a hilarious look at the ups and downs of parenthood, covering such topics as dirty diapers, tantrums, sibling rivalry, finding a reliable babysitter, overscheduled extra curricular activities, clueless spouses and sagging body parts - as well as the joy children bring their parents.
"Mom's the Word" has played at the American Theatre of Minnesota in St. Paul and at the Pioneer Place Theatre in St. Cloud.
The play is written by Linda Carson, Jill Daum, Alison Kelly, Robin Nichol, Barbara Pollard and Deborah Williams. It is directed by Peter Moore.
Tuesday through Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. There is a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19.
