Three Blue Anchors all-stars play in 7-5 north win

All three of the Blue Anchors players selected to the Northwoods League All-Star Game had some playing time in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Tuesday.

The North Division defeated the South Division in the game 7-5.

Albert Baur had the most playing time for the Blue Anchors, going 1-for-5 in the game and playing both third base and designated hitter. He started and hit seventh in the North's lineup. Georgie Salem was 1-for-2 and spent time in left field.

Chase Rihtarchik pitched a scoreless fifth inning for the North Division, giving up a hit but also striking out a batter.

The all-star break ended for the Blue Anchors on Thursday as they began a two-game homestand against St. Cloud.
