Theatre L'Homme Dieu to present one-time play
For one night only, on August 14 at 7:30 p.m., Theatre L'Homme Dieu is presenting For the Birds. Uniting the new music of Zeitgeist, the words of humorist and writer Kevin Kling and the music of composer Victor Zupanc, For the Birds is a show for everyone.
Joining storytelling with musical interludes, songs and poetry, For the Birds illuminates the human need for inspiration and imagination in a one-hour musical and theatrical event.
As a playwright and storyteller, Kevin Kling's commentaries can be heard on NPR's All Things Considered. His plays and adaptations have been performed around the world. He lives in Minneapolis and is currently MPR's Artist in Residence.
Zeitgeist, a family of Minnesota musicians, has presented works of substance for more than 30 years. With two percussion, piano and woodwinds, Zeitgeist continually strives to forge new links between musicians and music lovers.
