Theatre L'Homme Dieu kicks off season with 'God of Carnage'
Theatre L'Homme Dieu in Alexandria will kick off its 2012 summer season with God of Carnage, "a comedy of manners...without the manners," with performances from June 26 through July 1. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and a matinee on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Featuring the Guthrie Theatre's 2011 cast and director, God of Carnage is a Tony Award-winning comedy of grown-ups behaving badly.
The play begins as two highly-strung couples meet for a civil discussion about a playground fight between their sons. As the evening progresses, the parents become increasingly childish. Soon, it morphs into a comedic train wreck.
