'Theater Off the Cuff' at AAAA tonight
The Alexandria Area Arts Association is hosting Improv Café, presented by Colin Hearn and David Christman from Theater Off the Cuff.
The event will take place tonight, Friday, July 16, at 7 p.m. and again tomorrow evening at 8 p.m.
Tickets for this event are $15 and can be purchased by calling the AAAA box office at (320) 762-8300 or stopping by the box office at 618 Broadway.
Box office hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to all shows.
The Improv Café is five courses of fun that the audience helps prepare. The fun-filled feast is unpredictable and will leave the audience with sidesplitting laughter.
The improv comedy is sure to stomp on the audience's funny bone and provide a fun atmosphere. Audience's participation and suggestions will create the show before their eyes.
Audience, be prepared for a surprise every step of the way.
The audience is often involved in many of the Improv games such as "Finnish the Sentence" or "Gibberish" and many more. Audience members are also welcome to sit back and relax while watching many of the hilarious impromptu scenes, created by audience material.
The show is perfect for all ages and sure to be a hit.
Hearn attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has been a part of numerous productions throughout the United Kingdom and in the United States.
He is an accomplished musical director and producer for many organizations. He has directed and performed in several drama companies in the United States.
Hearn is originally from Lambeth, London in the United Kingdom and resides in Parker, Colorado with his wife and daughters.
Christman attended Northwest College for Theater and did his repertory theater work at The Bigfork Summer Playhouse in Bigfork, Montana. He has performed in hundreds of stage, music and film productions. He is an accomplished actor, vocalist, speaker and musical theater director.
Christman is originally from Casper, Wyoming and resides in Osakis with his wife and son.
