Tabletop trade show to feature area manufacturers
On Tuesday, May 5, members of area trade associations will gather at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria for the annual Manufacturers Tabletop Trade Show.
About 30 companies, all manufacturers or service providers for manufacturers, will set up tabletop displays depicting the products and services they have to offer.
The exhibitors are members of three area organizations: Tri-State Manufacturers' Association, Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association, and Arrowhead Manufacturers and Fabricators Association.
The public is invited to attend the show, which will run from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. There is no charge to attend; a cash bar will be available.
Students, parents, business community, prospective employees - anyone who's curious to learn more about manufacturing in the region is welcome to attend.
The event provides an opportunity for networking, increased understanding of manufacturing capabilities in the region, exposure to services available to manufacturers, and increased awareness of career opportunities in manufacturing.
Beginning at 6 p.m., a dinner and business meeting will be open to pre-registered guests.
Tri-State Manufacturers' Association is a membership-based organization serving manufacturers and related industries in west central Minnesota and eastern North and South Dakota. TSMA's 220 members benefit from peer networking, low cost training, plant tours, benefit programs, promotional opportunities, and more.
Arrowhead Manufacturers and Fabricators Association and Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association are similar organizations serving the manufacturing industries in the Duluth/Arrowhead and St. Cloud regions. The three organizations are collaborating to bring increased exposure to manufacturers at the May 5 event.
