The Cardinal swimming and diving team was still searching for its first win of the season after coming up just short in a 99-87 loss to Sauk Centre on Tuesday.

The Cardinals edged the Mainstreeters a year ago, but Sauk Centre won nine of the 12 events this time around to come away with the win. Jenna Kremer had one of the three wins for the Cardinals. She took the diving competition with 140.60 points, and Rachel Kriese took second for Alexandria with 120.35 points.
