Suspect arrested in Alexandria stabbing

A stabbing was reported in Alexandria Saturday and a suspect was arrested.

The Alexandria Police Department received a call of a fight in progress in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 6th Avenue East. Police said the fight was between Joshua Baumann, 21, and Patrick Sandgren, 21, both of Alexandria. The two men knew each other, according to Police Chief Rick Wyffels.
