King, all other persons unknown claiming any right, title, estate, interest, or lien in the real estate described in the Complaint herein,
THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANTS:
You are hereby summoned and required to serve upon plaintiffs attorneys an Answer to the Complaint which is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court, within twenty (20) days after service of this Summons upon you, exclusive of the date of service. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
This purpose of this action is to determine the title and adverse claims to the lands hereinafter described, and that the action effects the following described lands situated in the County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, to-wit:
That part of Government Lot 2 and that part of Government Lot 3 and that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW 1/4 NW 1/4) and that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NE 1/4 NW 1/4), all being within Section 6, Township 130 North, Range 40 West, Douglas County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the west quarter corner of said Section 6;
thence South 00 degrees 10 minutes 54 seconds East, assumed bearing along the west line of said Section 6, a distance of 344.45 feet to the center line of Trunk Highway No. 78;
thence North 45 degrees 41 minutes 18 seconds East, along said center line, 424.17 feet to a tangent spiral point;
thence northeasterly, along said center line and along a Euler spiral concave to the southeast, central angle 01 degree 07 minutes 30 seconds, 150.00 feet to spiral curve point;
thence northeasterly, along said center line and along the central curve, radius 3819.72 feet, concave to the southeast, central angle 05 degrees 10 minutes 30 seconds 345.00 feet to Point "B";
thence continuing northeasterly, along said center line and along said central curve, central angle 04 degrees 55 minutes 11 seconds, 327.98 feet to curve spiral point;
thence northeasterly, along said center line and along Eurel spiral, central angle 01 degrees 07 minutes 30 seconds, 150.00 feet to spiral tangent point;
thence North 58 degrees 01 minutes 59 seconds East, along tangent and along said center line, 1681.67 feet to the east line of aforesaid Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NE 1/4 NW 1/4) of Section 6, said point being the point of beginning of the land to be described;
thence reversing South 58 degrees 01 minutes 59 seconds West, along said center line, 1681.67 feet to said spiral tangent point;
thence southwesterly, along said Eurel spiral and along said center line, central angle 01 degrees 07 minutes 30 seconds, 150.00 feet to said spiral point;
thence southwesterly, along said center line and along said central curve, radius 3819.72, concave to the southeast, central angle 04 degrees 55 minutes 11 seconds, 327.98 feet to aforesaid Point "B";
thence South 58 degrees 49 minutes 11 seconds East, not tangent to said central curve, 244.04 feet;
thence South 22 degrees 22 minutes 25 seconds West 252.78 feet;
thence South 33 degrees 55 minutes 59 seconds West 136.58 feet;
thence South 67 degrees 42 minutes 32 seconds East 3.32 feet;
thence South 26 degrees 58 minutes 18 seconds West 361.79 feet;
thence South 35 degrees 09 minutes 09 seconds West 275.24 feet;
thence North 50 degrees 07 minutes 59 seconds West 29.90 feet;
thence South 41 degrees 28 minutes 45 seconds West 550.73 feet to aforesaid west line of Section 6;
thence South 00 degrees 10 minutes 54 seconds East, along said west line of Section 6, a distance of 1298 feet more or less to the shoreline of Lake Christina;
thence northeasterly, along said shoreline 4,000 feet more or less to the east line of aforesaid Government Lot 2;
thence North 00 degrees 13 minutes 12 seconds West, along said east line of Government Lot 2 and along aforesaid east line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NE 1/4 NW 1/4), a distance of 912 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
The tract contains 81.0 acres more or less subject to an existing public roadway easement over the northerly portion thereof (Trunk Highway No. 78).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the object of said action is to obtain a judgment declaring that plaintiffs are the owner in fee of the property described above, and that the defendants, and each of them, have no right, title, estate, interest, or lien in or upon the said real estate.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that no personal claim is made by plaintiffs against any of the defendants.
