Students raise funds for local food shelf

Students from New Testament Christian School in Alexandria, including teacher Jennifer Holmquist with 1st and 2nd grade students Rachel Wegner, Joslyn Tacker, Riyada Braford, Jasmine Oliver, Ashley Larson, Adam Anderson, Landyn Thang, A.J. Cottington and Adrian Ryther, toured the Douglas County Outreach Food Shelf on Wednesday, March 27 and delivered donations of food and money.

The students have been learning about the food shelf and made posters and decorated grocery bags to encourage others to donate in March. Many did chores to earn the money they gave.
