Students can learn the basics of aerodynamics

Students in grades 1-6 are invited to join “Up, Up and Away” to learn about aerodynamics by launching corks, water bottles and balloons hundreds of feet in the air.

“Mad Scientist” Alex Koperberg will use water, air pressure and everyday materials to launch rockets.

All launches are safe and afford an outdoor adventure for all students involved.

Class is Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 1-10 from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. at the Woodland Elementary School art room in Alexandria. The cost is $29.

Check the full listing of class offerings and register online at www.alexandria.thatscommunityed.com or call Community Education at (320) 762-3310.
