Student graduates and scholarships
Air Force Airman Adam Saulsbury graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The intensive, eight-week program included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles/skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Saulsbury is the son of Julie Schoeck of Osakis and Jesse Saulsbury of Kensington. He is a 2008 graduate of Osakis High School.
James Cornish, son of Glenn and Mary Cornish, received an Air Battle Manager Express Scholarship from the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. The scholarship entitles Cornish to fully paid college tuition, including books and a stipend. Cornish, a 2011 graduate of Parkers Prairie High School in Parkers Prairie, is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
