Bonnie Bartell, RN, is a recipient of Knute Nelson's (KN) Tree of Excellence award. This award is the highest level of recognition through the KN Employee Recognition Program. Bartell has been employed at KN for one and a half years and is currently the Home Care Branch manager in Morris. She was nominated by her peers who said that she "communicates well with staff and patients, is a great example to all by having patience and has a heart of gold."
Megan Chisholm recently joined Alexandria Light and Power as the marketing and communications specialist. Her duties include increasing customer awareness with an emphasis on ALP programs and services. She is a graduate of Alexandria Technical and Community College with an associate degree in sales and marketing management. She was previously employed by Local Level Marketing, publisher of Lakes Area Magazine and AMP-Squared, publisher of Definitive Woman Magazine.
Pam Teichert, LPN, is a recipient of Knute Nelson's (KN) Tree of Excellence award. This award is the highest level of recognitions through the KN Employee Recognition Program. Teichert has been employed at KN for almost 10 years as a licensed practical nurse. She was nominated by her peers, who said that she "goes out of her way to make residents comfortable, is committed to discovering more efficient ways of doing her work, and is proactive about residents' needs and cares."
Dr. Pete Pfeffer of Alexandria, a chiropractor and accomplished public speaker, was asked to be one of the keynote speakers at the HealthSource national convention in Dallas, Texas. The topic was functional movement and exercise. He lectured and trained doctors to implement specialized exercises in their everyday practice. Pfeffer speaks regularly at churches, civic groups, schools and chiropractic groups and colleges.
Peter Campion recently joined the University of Minnesota Extension Center for Community Vitality Leadership and Civic Engagement (LCE) team as an Extension educator, serving 11 counties in West Central Minnesota. Campion had been working with the LCE team for the past one and a half years as a graduate research assistant while enrolled as a doctoral student in the University of Minnesota organizational leadership, policy and development program.
Prior to his graduate student experience, Campion taught both in-person and online courses as adjunct faculty at three higher education institutions. He has experience in the use of multiple online education tools and online learning, evaluation processes, data analysis and research.
Campion grew up in the Fergus Falls area, has two daughters and enjoys the outdoors.
Vic Benzinger, a financial advisor with Steidl, Benzinger, Tatge, Seifert and Associates in Alexandria, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial, qualified for and attended the 2013 Circle of Success Conference that was held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
While at the conference, advisors were able to share best practices with peers and focus on how Ameriprise can continue to serve its clients' needs with current and effective strategies and products.
