Amanda Brodhagen has been hired as an in-home family-based therapist at The Village Family Service Center in Alexandria.
As a family therapist, Brodhagen offers intensive in-home family therapy, counseling and support services to families who have at least one child at risk of being removed from the home.
Brodhagen is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a master's degree in community counseling. She specializes in adolescents, grief and loss, families and relationships.
The Village is a private, non-profit, non-denominational, multi-service agency operating in six communities in North Dakota and 13 communities in Minnesota.
Amy Flesland has joined The Village Family Service Center as a family therapist in the Alexandria region. Her past employment includes working at Solutions in Alexandria from October 2011 to November 2012 as a mental health practitioner, CTSS.
She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and is working towards her Master's in Social Work at St. Cloud State University. She is the daughter of Mark and Donna Flesland.
The Village Family Service Center has been serving children and families in Fargo-Moorhead since 1891.
As the new marketing and communications specialist at Alexandria Industries, Patricia Hoffman will help the company continue to build brand awareness through strategic communications and business-to-business marketing. She will assist with marketing initiatives and focus on public relations.
With more than 20 years of public relations experience, Hoffman was a senior account executive with Padilla Speer Beardsley, a public relations agency in Minneapolis.
She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves as Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) committee co-chair, mentoring members working to achieve APR, an industry certification that recognizes professionals who have demonstrated excellence in the knowledge, skills and abilities in planning and managing public relations activities.
Hoffman holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota Morris.
