Streaks improve to 11-0 in conference

The Osakis girls’ basketball team coasted to another Prairie Conference victory of 75-13 at home over Benson Tuesday.

Osakis head coach Pat Kalpin was happy with the team’s effort to force turnovers to get some extra offensive opportunities.

“The girls played really hard tonight,” Kalpin said. “It was nice to get all the girls playing time and watch them all contribute.”

Annalise Savageau led Osakis with 22 points as the team shot 51 percent from the field. The win boosted the Silverstreaks’ record this season to 17-2 and 11-0 in Prairie Conference play.

The Silverstreaks will play another conference opponent Friday, tonight, when Upsala visits Osakis.
