Osakis put up 36 points and led by 25 at the break in an eventual 58-22 win.

“It was a good game for us,” head coach Pat Kalpin said of the win over the Thunder. “We started the first half on a 17-0 run and the second half on a 15-0 run. The girls played hard, took good shots and defended well. It was a solid conference win for us.”

The Silverstreaks had four players finish with at least eight points. Annalise Savageau and Brittney Sadlemyer each had 16, while Mackenzie Staloch and Madi Forsell finished with eight. Sadlemyer also added eight rebounds, while Savageau had a team-leading five assists.

“I felt that all the girls played hard again, but the play of Brittney Sadlemyer was great,” Kalpin said. “She established herself in the low post and was able to score out of there. She also led us in rebounding, too.”
