Store damaged in crash

Around 2:30 a.m. on May 29, law enforcement received several calls about a white truck that had been driven into the Perry's Furniture building on Nokomis Street in Alexandria and then fled from the scene.


According to Alexandria Police Department, a 23-year-old man was driving the truck that reportedly hit the building and then drove away.

Charges are pending.

Dispatchers reportedly received several calls from people who heard the crash early Wednesday.
